Acupressure

Acupressure is a form of traditional Chinese medicine that involves applying pressure to specific points on the body, known as acupoints, to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. It is based on the concept of Qi (pronounced "chee"), or life energy, which flows through meridians (channels) in the body.

When these energy channels are blocked or imbalanced, it can lead to discomfort, pain, or illness. Acupressure works by using fingers, palms, or tools to apply pressure to these acupoints, helping to restore balance, improve energy flow, and alleviate physical and emotional symptoms.
